On Saturday, August 2, 2008, Donald Lee Sadler and Jennifer Lyn Younce became man and wife on the historic Church on the Main site. This Conservancy-owned and permanently protected land is very special to Donald. An employee of Archaeological and Cultural Solutions, Donald was one of the archaeologists who excavated the site and found the original church footings and the cemetary surrounding the church, which includes 210 gravesites. The guests were serenaded by Williamsburg Field Musick’s Fife and Drums.
