Walk and Talk 2008
Virginia Master Naturalists served as leaders for the 2008 Walk and Talk tours.

Archaeologist and Conservancy Board member, Alain Outlaw, talked about the history that surrounds the Greensprings Trail.
Biology students from Jamestown High School, under the leadership of Charles Dubay, held children’s activities to teach K-6 grade students about nature. Games were one of the tools used to help the children learn about their environment.
Professor of Geology Emeritus and Conservancy Board member, Jerre Johnson, talked about fossils and made sure participants went home with their own Jefferson scallop, the state fossil of Virginia.
